  The school has gained Healthy School status. This shows that  the school promotes healthy eating and  life styles.  We also aim to provide all our children with the requisite skills to survive in a fast changing world.

 We are based on a large housing estate in the lovely seaside town of Scarborough. We share a large green site with Barrowcliff Infant and Nursery School.

Also on the site is the 'Sure Start' Children's centre.

A great deal has changed in the past 57 years since the school opened.

On the left is the Peace Tree with messages from all the children in school.

8.50 am to  12.15pm

1.15 pm to     3.15pm

Children can arrive from 8.40am to play, or just meet friends, before school starts at 8.50am. 

There is excellent child care in the Infant School. They bring your child into school in the mornings and pick them up after school.

Hours 7.45 until start of school

            3.15pm until 5.15pm

Cost    Full Morning session £2.50

            (£2.00 subsequent children)

            Full Afternoon session £4.00

             (£3.50 subsequent children.)

            1 hour afternoon     £2.00 All children
